Tyga “Bitch I’m The Shit 2” Album Review

Hey now! I told y’all Tyga was up to something and was going to be making a comeback!! After dropping “Rawwest Ni**a Alive,” Tyga is back with “Bitch I’m the Shit 2,” the follow-up to 2011’s #BitchImTheShit. Yes that’s a long break for a follow-up project, I know. Six years to be exact. BITS2 is loaded with features from his GOOD Music teammates, Kanye West on “Feel Me” and Pusha T on “Ski on the Slope” to other cool features from Ty Dolla $ign (“Move to L.A.”), Quavo (“Bel Air”), Young Thug (“Run It Back”), Vince Staples (“Playboy”), and his son King (“Flossin”). The PURPOSE of this PROJECT was to show Tyga fans and the rest of the industry that he is re-energized and he’s back in his bag. Let’s see if Tyga is actually in his “bag.”

Top 5 Songs

5. 1 ON 1

Okay this song is a year old and it’s odd to me why its on here but whatever man. Tyga is trying to make a comeback so if this song got great feedback, might as well put it on your bounce back project right? This song is Tyga’s version of Drake’s “Controlla” but it’s not too bad. The summertime Caribbean vibe on here is perfect. You know what maybe this track is back on here for the summer??? Well played Tyga.

So this song actually released on New Years Day so I was surprised it was on here. Regardless though it still cranks. It sounds even better now then it did when it released. It may just be me. “Feel Me” gives us a Kanye verse and that’s something that instantly would make any song lovable for me. This song is very catchy and production is dope on here. It sounds real good in the whip too!

This track is dumb lit…..The intro was absolutly hilarious. Trick smells like bouk and Hennessy? LMAO Anyways i love the production on here and Tyga sounds like prime Tyga! The best part of the song is the return of Honey Cocaine, one of Tyga’s artist who is very talented if you ask me. I know Tyga had addressed on The Breakfast Club that the fame had got to her but its good to see Bae, I mean Honey Cocaine, make a come back.

This is a collaboration I think every one will enjoy. Tyga raps with some serious confidence over a beat meant for him and just kills it. This track features Vince Staples and he brought the bars to compliment Tyga real nice on here. The beat was produced by Crakwav I think? Anyways salute to him and anyone else involved in production! Tyga needs to keep working and put out more tracks like this and those classic strip club bangers that brought him that success he once had. Love this track so much.

MAN… THIS SONG RIGHT HERE CRANKS. This is so Tyga. This song is probably already being cranked in all strip clubs on the West Coast and making it’s way nationwide. It’s perfect for all party’s and pregames. You get my point here, the song is a major banger. It’s obvious what song is about here so no need for me to dive in to it. LOL. But man when Pusha-T comes on after the awkward  yet comical segue from what seems to be a white girl asking if she can say n***a, man he goes in. The blow references are ridiculous and had me geeked. “Cut up the Daniel.” GENIUS. I do not do drugs but I still think this song is very dope and so so so Tyga! He’s back man. Stop sleepin y’all.

Let’s keep this short and sweet y’all. This is not album of the year material. This isn’t Tyga’s best material either. What this project is project that will catapult Tyga back into real relevancy in today’s game. There are some under the radar bangers on here and some real bangers on here such as “Feel Me,” “Move to L.A,” “1 on 1” and my favorite song on this project, “Ski On The Slope.” It’s nice to see that Tyga is back on his grind. Usually artist when they fall off like Tyga has its hard to bounce back and that next project you put out just doesn’t come out as the artist wished. As for Tyga, he did a good job staying true to himself and making music that works for him. He always talks about the usual generic shit such as flossin, “being a boss” and living lavishly but on here, he made the songs for such generic simple topics sound different which grabbed my attention. But I almost forgot. It was awesome seeing the features he was able to get on the album. Even though I thought “Bel Air” featuring Quavo was trash, features by Honey Cocaine on “NANN N—A,” Pusha-T on “Ski On The Slope,” and Vince Staples on “Playboy” were amazing! Tyga and the production team did a good job selecting who sounded good on what! Man I’ve got to say I said a few months ago in my “New Music Alert” post for “Playboy” Tyga was making a comeback and I was spot on! I say if you’re a Tyga fan you’ll definitely approve of this and people who wanted to write T-Raw off, you’ll give him a second chance. Maybe.

Oh and I just want to say Tyga is not the new Killa Cam and “Ski On The Slope” is going to be heard in every Strip Club here on out. Thanks for reading!
